Quoted: I swear by the Ruger P90. I now have two in stainless. I got my second after I used my first for thousands of rounds. It has never failed me, I have nothing but praise for this gun. I carry it every day and have used it. I use gold dot hollow points in them both, but have put all makes of ammo through them at the range, even the cheap Wolf. And the price beats a lot of other makes.....WELL DONE RUGER...I have several of there guns including rifles...I love my Mini 30 and both my 10/22's.
I was very impressed with the look & feel - it is considerably slimmer than their earlier polymer-framed models. I almost bought it on the spot - but I'm trying to wait until I hear/read some feedback on it.

The HK fit the bill perfectly and I love it dearly. Id trust my life to it anyday.
I have both a USP full size (UPS9 SD) and Sig full size (P220). They each have their own personality, I love them both. Especially in light the fact that they both have the German proof marks on them from the firearm proof houses. Nothing against the domestic gun industry, but those proof marks mean you really can trust your life with them. It's too bad we don't have such stringent industry standards here in the US.
You are very astute! Is is a photo of the proof marks on a P99, I was just trying to show a pic of German proof-house marks in general, and Hunt101.com was down, so I could't post a pic of mine.
good call!

Quoted: Best for what? Strictly firepower and reliability, I'll take the Glock. Accuracy I'll take the Sig.
Best of both worlds? CZ97.
drool... I want one...
I've heard the CZ97s are crazy accurate out of the box... I'd love one for a sidearm in carbine matches...

My favorite Non-1911 .45 would have to be....
A Colt Mk. IV Series 80 handgun in .45...
It doesn't say 1911 ANYWHERE on this gun, so technically it's NOT a 1911...

I wouldn't think too hard, CZ is becoming pretty popular in the US.

I've fired the Glock 21 on a couple of occasions, and found it to be something of a beast. That sucker's just too fat for my hands to work with well. The Sig P220 I fired kicked ass, though.
