If I want a 19, I'll use one. Same for 17.
Never wanted a 19 slide on a 17 grip. 17 slide with a 19 recoil spring is stupid. |

Probably have a whole bunch they need to get rid of now that CBP isn't buying nearly as many 47s compared to 19s

That’s interesting...
Maybe that could be a blue label purchase... |

I won't be buying a 47, but hopefully this will convince Glock to release the 17slide/19frame configuration people are wanting.

Quoted: They keep making 17 frame 19 slide bullshit. Most people don't carry and it shows. View Quote Or rather, some people don't carry like you do. The 45 is a fantastic duty weapon for those that work patrol and sit in a squad car all day and don't use a weapon light. Two guys I work with appendix carry the 19x as well. They're shorter guys, and it works well for them. |

The G19X was developed for a specific user in mind (conventional military in duty style holsters). The G45 was introduced after demand from Law Enforcement for a G19X in black to carry in external duty holsters. History has shown over and over that short grip/long slide combos don't sell well. At least you can build an OEM G19L now if you want. There was never a way to get a G19X confirmation before that gun existed. |

It’s not necessarily the G47 that is intriguing to me. It’s what you can do with it when you combine it with other frames. Regardless, it’s not like this model or other models are replacing other guns. All it is, is another option for the masses. People here are acting like that’s a bad thing |

I've always wanted a MOS model to screw around with. I already have a few milled guns. Now this will work with a 19 and 45 frame. |

Not really interested. I like the 19 and 17 the way they are.

Sign me up. My chopped 17 is my favorite gun. If I could trade my gen 4 19 to get a gen 5 34 and then GSSF the 47 Ill be a happy camper

For $627.00? Fuck no. I'll wait for Blue Label pricing at Lou's Police Supply in Hialeah, FL.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it is essentially a G17 that has full parts compatibility with the G19?
Important if your department doesn't want to deal with servicing two different models but for the rest of us, maybe not so much. |

I will buy the first one I see , some of the Fed`s changed and are going with a G/19 platform so maybe we will see the G/47 . I want one .

The only parts commonality gained with this is it uses the G19 recoil spring. But it creates a different slide. |

Important if your department doesn't want to deal with servicing two different models but for the rest of us, maybe not so much. View Quote Yep. The 47 slide is specifically compatible with the 19 parts. Parts compatibility with the 19 was one of the main reasons for the design of the 47 slide vs going with a standard 17. "Note: The CBP G47 and the CBP G19MOS share 100% parts compatibility. There are no current plans for a commercial release of the CBP models." https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2019/04/11/glock-g47-cbp/ |

I don't suppose a guy could just call Glock and buy the 47slide and barrel?

Perfect!
Now you can buy 2 19s and 2 47s and make a 19, 19L, 19X/45, and 17/47 |
