no picture, but my flavor of the month is:
star "megastar" .45acp, starvel finish, (3) 12 round matching mags. double action, shoots great!, heavier than a dead minister. it was one of stars best built/best efforts to stay afloat. i also had a "firestar" in .45 it shot better than my colt commander, but was very heavy. i used to shoot uzi smg ammo thru it w/o any problems. hell of a muzzle flash, but no ftf's. |

Well todays entry is .........
Although not my first to own it is first pistol I ever bought, Ruger Single Six, .22/.22 mag convertable. Super little trail gun while hiking, camping, fishing. good little game getter and plinker also.

Here is a closer pic of mine. On the top is a 3rd gen. Colt Woodsman, then my PT99. On the right is my Inglis Chinese contract Hi-power.
Below are my wheelguns. The ss on the right is a H&R model 950, 9 shot .22. Then a model 10 and my first love. A royal blue 6" Python. The case they are sitting on is my "home made" $35 case. I bought an aluminum and steel "briefcase" at Zellers (Wally World has them) and a piece of egg crate foam for a bed. Cut the foam to fit. You will have to layer it 3 or 4 times to fill the bottom. I glued the layers together with spray contact cement leaving one layer unglued. I can put mags in that layer. there is 3 layers of foam between that and the top. It will hold 5 medium handguns no problem. a lot cheaper then a custom made case and it doesn't scream "gun" when you carry it around. |
