Has anyone received an order for S15 mags recently? I placed an order on 3/29 (while they were still able to be back ordered, before they started re-tooling) and haven’t heard a peep. They sure as shit charged my card already though.

From what others have reported on this recent batch/order I probably just missed in stock vs wait game. Hopefully what comes in when they do ship is the ambidextrous mags as I shoot lefty, that will at least be worth the wait. |

Shield Arms just showed off the Gen 2 Ambi S15 magazines on IG with "Soon" in the caption. Hopefully we will see backorders start to move.

Just got shipping notification for my order placed back in April. Check your emails!

Got my shipping notice from my 3/31 preorder.
Wonder if these are the gen2 mags. |
|
My backorder from 3/22 just shipped.
It sounds like they are shipping alot of backorders in a short period of time. Hopefully that means they are back production. |

I have been checking this thread since it started. I have a 48 and love it. So, the mags are proven now, if you use a steel mag catch?

I hope the guys who have been trying to sell them for $100.00 choke on a pile of them!

Received a shipping notification this afternoon for the five S15 magazines I ordered at the end of March.

"Note: Gen 2 mags purchased before June 15, 2021 may ship with gen 1 base plates. Base plates are cross-compatible, the only difference between gen 1 and gen 2 base plates is cosmetic." from Shield's website.
I do not personally care, though it seems rather unprofessional to say Gen 2, but then not give you everything that is included in the Gen 2 magazine. Base plates being cosmetic, seems to be a bit misleading. The ledges on the Gen 2 base plates look to be for stripping stuck magazines easier, say for example, during a double-feed and particularly when running a mag well or their mag well that is being released in the future. We shall see what base plates come with those of us who were on backorder of the original Gen 1s. |

I bet their plan was to drop at 5pm on a holiday weekend, go away and expect to wake up to a pile of cash Tuesday morning. |

You are able to go back in and order 2 more mags. Just sucks on shipping a 2nd order. Keep trying the site. It seems to come up and down. |

What updates did they make to the gen2s outside of ambi mag release cuts?

And $40.00 is nothing when Pedo Joe and his merry band of commies start banning stuff.

If they haven’t increased production to meet demand, does anything else really matter? Waiting months on end for a few mags, or paying retarded resale prices don’t appeal to me at all, so anything else is immaterial until the supply issue that’s plagued them since day one gets resolved.
