Greg_357, glad to see you get to tote old trusty Slab Sides.  Kudos for your 25 meter groups under a time constraint and overall score.  That's some pretty mean shooting, IMHO.  It just goes to prove what can still be done with a no frills mil-spec.

Hooah or Semper Fi, whichever is pertinent.

Had to revive this thread.

Here is my Kimber, bought two years ago and it was like new.  About 17000 rounds later it's not like new.  I am sending it to Tripp soon for a some TLC, front strap checkering, Ed Brown beavertail and some matte hard chrome.  Tired of pulling it out of my Summer Special II and having to remove the rust every night.
