Greg_357, glad to see you get to tote old trusty Slab Sides. Kudos for your 25 meter groups under a time constraint and overall score. That's some pretty mean shooting, IMHO. It just goes to prove what can still be done with a no frills mil-spec.

LEAD Letterkenny Army Depot where it was reconditioned. The etching is common on M1 Garands, and I have a '43 Remington Rand with the same. |

Had to revive this thread.
Here is my Kimber, bought two years ago and it was like new. About 17000 rounds later it's not like new. I am sending it to Tripp soon for a some TLC, front strap checkering, Ed Brown beavertail and some matte hard chrome.
