2. possibly thru hard cover, the CU jackets on a true Mil .45 acp round are reasonably thick and might deflect less thru glass and sheet steel and such. Wood, not much difference. |

The lead pill will be smokey due to the lube.

If the lead is hard-cast, they'll be very similar on both counts. If it's soft, it will be far more likely to deform/break apart, and thus deflect, when passing through obstacles on the way to the target.
