I've gotten plenty of Colt receivers in plastic bags .
Colt shit is never perfect ... thought we all knew this shit by now ... |

Have no real problem but rarely shop there. 2 pop ups every time I visit. I always have bad luck and what I want is always out of stock.

EVERY Colt upper (5 of them) I've bought from Brownells came in a Colt box.
Definitely a WTF? moment. |

Maybe it’s catching?
I placed a order for .22LR target ammo from Midway—12 50 round boxes. The morons didn’t assemble the shipping box properly, so it was open by the time it was delivered one single box of 50 made it, 11 boxes are out there.....somewhere..... No more Midway for me. 90’ waiting on hold on to get some knucklehead who couldn’t access the pictures I email of the damaged box & missing ammo, so they’ll look into it....They credited me the shipping & missing ammo. I placed an order for target ammo with our Brownwellian overlords & they screwed up the packing as well....nothing like getting $20 boxes of ammo & having to repack them because the ammo is spilled lose in a packing box. SGAmmo & Bone Frog wrap boxes in Saran Wrap like packing wrap to prevent spilling ammo & damaged stuff. I prefer to buy from folks with an a packing IQ above room temp, like Brownell’s & Midway, but they didn’t have super-douper target ammo. |

The last upper I got from them was in a plastic bag inside a soft shipping envelope. Atleast the other small parts thrown in didn't scratch it up.
They just have retards working the shipping dept who don't give a shit which is the problem. Like Midway throwing a box of bullets in a big box with a single air pillow. Or Grafs tossing plastic bags of bullets in big box and half slip out untaped seams and half brake open spilling bullets across country. |

then i was on hold for two hours... dudes, if i put a customer on hold for two minutes where i work, my Boss would kill us.

Y'all done did it now!
Oh supreme AR15 overlords and bestest firearm accessories, gun parts, gunsmithing tools, reloading and shooting supplies merchant... we beg your forgiveness for the doddering fiction above. We most gratefully seek condonation and continuance of our cherished GD. |

View Quote I was on hold 75 minutes to get a refund for a $154 part which was "in stock" when ordered, but never shipped. The excellent CS Brownell's had 5 years ago has slipped to the CTD level. |

Just got 10 boxes of 308 from Palmetto State. Very professionally boxed and wrapped tighter than a drum ????

@BSOG1 Please IM me your order number and email me pics of the damage at [email protected] and I'll see what I can do to make it right.

Wow. The pandering actually worked.
Oh supreme overlords, I most humility ask for a Lifetime Membership. |

Quoted: That is kinda fucked up. Actually, really now that I think about it. Retarded even. I was thinking it was shipped in a box and the upper was in a bag, within a box. And i'm like, just shut up OP. Then I read it was in a bag and said, that's real retarded. |

Brownells is the Amazon of the gun world. They have almost everything but you’re sure to get fucked over somehow if you order from them.
Places like Primary Arms and SG take care of you so there’s not a problem in the fire place. |

Quoted: Agreed. I placed an order and was quoted a 10 day delivery time. I live about 4 hours away. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Agreed. I placed an order and was quoted a 10 day delivery time. I live about 4 hours away. They use SpeeDee for a lot of their deliveries "local" (I'm just outside the Twin Cities)...I've taken their 5-7 day free shipping and gotten it next day at times (not even kidding, the stars just aligned right I guess); other times I've had it sit in a depot in St. Cloud for 8 days before they delivered it. Once I called Brownells to complain, they sent me to SpeeDee, who said "sorry, our drivers are busy and working to get through the backlog"...8 days worth of backlog? Did everyone call out sick except for two people or something? UPS/Fedex they ain't. But, I'm sure they're cheaper...and, for free shipping, why is anyone complaining, anyway. You get what you pay for. |

If I need something Brownells is the Last place I will buy from, only if no one else has what I need.
