Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - how to get downloaded youtube videos to play in plex?

So I downloaded some videos from youtube and converted them to mkv and then imported them to my plex library, but they do not show up when i search for them.  Is there something about youtube videos that prevent this from happening?

I have found that my Plex needs me to rescan my plex folder to discover new things I add to it.

Just figured it out, i created a new library for "Other Video" and now it works
