I want! You know, for the closet trashy side of myself. Would go great with my Bright stainless Colt GCMN.
|
|
|
Kinda want but then I'd also need a pimpin' .38super 1911 to go with it.

Yeesh!
Talk about tasteless & gaudy, with a dose of “impractical.” Mexican in origin? What’s that they say about stereotypes? |
|
I have a friend in the metal finish buisiness who does plating. I've certainly been tempted to cartel out an AR for the lulz.

Atlantic had some gold AKs couple weeks back. By the time I clicked the link they were all sold out.
They were going for $1295 if I remember right? They even had gold mags and drums for purchase as well. |

You could say that or you could look at a series of examples and definitely say that it's "regionally distinctive", just like the gold plated guns in the Middle East or the whoreface and Paki tape guns in Afghanistan or the Serbian conflict guns with carved furniture, etc. It's pretty obvious where certain items come from- that doesn't make it racist. |

If I had one I’d put a TruGlo red dot on it and trigger Eh-heh-heeeeverybody
|

Apparently comes packaged with baggies of schnooze. I think it's been on armslist.

As soon as I saw the pic I wondered what Mexican Cartel that thing came from...

Nice, it's been a while since the Mexican's found a nice gold plated rifle.

Can afford gold and silver plating with engraving on an AR...
Can't afford to have a full magazine of matching ammo... |

You went to a public school, right? |

Did they apply JBWeld and then carve away at it before plating?

lol. I'm planning on a gold AK on an 80%. Even got a quote from titanium guns for titanium nitriding. Hoping to order the parts by the end of the month.
ETA: It will serve primarily as a wall hanger. I'm trying to decide what would be more appropriate, a framed photo of Saddam Hussein hanging above it, or a picture of Pablo Escobar depicted as a saint? |
