I needed a tablet so picked up a Samsung tablet. Setting the thing up i needed a q mail account and they want my cell number. The last thing i want to do is give those asholes my cell number.
Any way around giving my number to them? |

Get an app on your phone (Phoner is one that is pretty good for iPhone) that will allow you to generate a valid phone number and use that to do any necessary verification.
If the number is only necessary for initial verification rather than 2 factor authentication or recovery you could then just delete the app. |

When we bought pour current house the only cell service that worked was us cellular. it was somewhat spotty. Since then ATT now seems to have the best coverage.
We were planning on changing, but I decided to get a pay as you go ATT phone and see if ATT will be reliable here . That phone will be my google crap phone. |
