My kit sits in my office, and every so often one of my cymbals rings for no reason. First I thought it was a fly or something hitting the ride, but there's no flies today and that shit rang.

..Is my kit haunted?

I had a Zildjian ride cymbal that did this occasionally.

The guys at the music store said:  "If you're in an apartment or multi-family building, it's likely a subsonic vibration from someones TV or Stereo.  It happens.  But, if you're in a house with no adjoining neighbor? You're fucked!"  True story.   LOL

Hard floor, or carpet? Seismic activity?

Or, make up something cool and post in the creepy thread in GD.
