OG1, I am extremely sorry for your loss and for what you and your family must be enduring. Your post says a great deal of positive things about you as well as your daughter.

My wife is struggling hard with anger and I'm struggling with regret. I regret not talking to her on the phone, our last message was about food over text. I wish I would have just called instead. It seems silly but these things weigh heavy. Thanks again kind people, your prayers and words help more than you know.

I don't have a solid update yet but wanted to thank each of you again for the prayers and share what information I do have since you guys are invested in prayer and care. In the beginning, we got information about her nose being broken and a lot of blood and that was all the information I had so my mind went wild with fear and emotions. After the autopsy that was for sure ruled out as the cause of death, they said that was probably caused by her fall when it happened. The detective was there for the autopsy and afterward called us and gave us that information. He told us he really can't say much until the labs come back in 4 to 8 weeks. I am not 100% on the next part if he overshared or this was his working theory or a trend but he suspected she may have taken a pill laced with Fentanyl. He said in that area Fentanyl is used a lot and he suspects that but will not know until labs return. He has still not ruled out a criminal act but he seems to think it is something like this so we wait. What is most important to me is first her pastor calling us so many times to pray and reassure us she was saved and was in church that Sunday and brought someone who was led to Christ and secondly that a man did not torture her or beat her. Planning all the logistics of this is very overwhelming and something I never thought I would have to do. I am hoping the hard part is behind me. I am trying to just do normal things now and I get lost in thought and just drift off forgetting what I was doing but I think that will fade or at least I hope so. I really do appreciate your kind prayers and words.
