Who would be the best hands down choice for representation in a Constitutional Case

One, or a few to select from, with an impeccable record of Constitutionality based wins

There are no budgetary limitations, winning at all costs is the goal

Probably some smaller mom and pop shop lawyer. Big Law is all communist all the time these days.

I'll throw Alan Gura into the ring.

He's the one who argued and won Heller.

But this is a specialty that needs further breakdown.  There are GREAT first amendment lawyers that only take those kinds of cases, like Robert Barnes.

Paul Clement has a pretty damn good record.

True but one who is able to win based on procedure and evidence would be able to handle what I have in mind, which is a 2A premise

Strict irrebuttable evidence and procedure would be able to win regardless of creative spin by the opposition.

Do you want to narrow it down a little? Technically every case involves the Constitution. And there's 50 states out there.

I think quantifying best in the country is a bit subjective.
Certainly Gura has had some major, major wins, and is very well known.

Perhaps you should ask our two experts what they think.

Doesn’t always equate to the best, sometimes you just need the right one for the mission. There is a difference.

Kirkland & Ellis, specifically Paul Clement.

Argued in Heller (as Solicitor General for W's admin), McDonald v Chicago, NYSRPA v NYC, and NYSRPA v Bruen.

If he takes your case, you've got far better chances than any other case on the Supreme Court docket.

Let me guess...  "Yes that makes sense, and I wish it could happen, but that's not the way it works in practice."

I've had that conversation several hundred times this past couple of years.

There are some great 2A lawyers out there right now. They need money. They already have plenty of ideas.

Wish I had enough money to fund it it all, man.  I'm dogging on the situation, not you.
