Want to have my G35 slides milled for RMR’s and then have the slide/barrels completely refinished in Nitride since they have some holster wear and regular wear from just being used...
What say GD on the best place that can do this? |

Our overlords at Brownell’s sell a slide that’s already cut for RMR. Probably cheaper than having yours cut and coated, if you can find in stock. The Polymer80 craze has a lot of Glock parts OOS or overpriced. Attached File

Sent mine to Suarez. I like their co-witness sights and they do NP3
Came back perfect. |

I did Brownells slides for all my Glocks except the 43x and 48....those I sent to Mapleleaf...they did awesome job....HOWEVER if you want to mount a Holosun 507K to the 43x or 48 you have to let mapleleaf know as the front little footings have to be left off for those

Jagerwerks gets great reviews.
I personally went with SlideWorksEngineering because it was cheaper and turn around time was faster. He ended up getting it back to me in the same week. Not sure if speed is important to you or not. |

You're right about the cost differences leaning toward a second slide being the more beneficial option. |

Primary Machine did one for me.
Excellent work and communication. |

I’m not opposed to buying new slides, but I can’t find a Glock 35 slide anywhere and not sure the 34/35 slides are interchangeable less the internal parts.

ATEI is also local to me, had them mount & slide work on a G19, great work. Since then I’ve had them do mounting for two other RDS’s, can take awhile but great work nonetheless.

View Quote The only thing keeping me from buying new slides is that almost every shop wants to put serrations and holes on every square inch they can find. I just want rear slide serrations and the optic cut, and none of that wasteful cosmetic machining. |

In the process of trying to get another but comms aren't as good. Sent emails with questions, dont get answers and if I do its broken replies without answering my questions. They have a process of lacquering the underside of the RMR to waterproof it instead of a sealing plate and dont really talk about it. That and the fact they were two weeks now a month + Im a tad bit hesitant. |

I've gone with Battlewerx on two jobs now.
No problems and relatively quick turnaround. |

I sent mine to maple leaf. They have the “pins”. It was a very tight fit. I was pleased.

This means no zero loss when you pull it off to change the battery. |

Quoted: I figured out that the cost of sending my slide to get machined refinished and sent back to me was very close to just getting a new slide already made for a RMR. When I caught the Brownell's G19 RMR slide on sale for less than $200 it was a done deal. https://i.imgur.com/GxRQ4YR.jpg View Quote This, plus if you find it in stock you don’t have to wait weeks to get your slide back. |

I have a question? Would it be worth having this work done vs selling your current pistol and buying an MOS model that comes factory ready and finished?????
