So the wife & I go to a charity dinner last night, so I wasn't sure I would get up early to stand in line for the local drawing. New puppy got us up, what the heck. Ended up drawing #2 (of 600 max tickets against 190 limited bottles avail) & scored myself a pappy 23 @ MSRP

MSRP seems to be $270.00. If that's what you paid, well done! Yesterday I saw a bottle of 20 Year Old in a local store for $2000.00. I hope you drink it and enjoy it.

At that price, you may be able to pick up a bottle of the 23 yr old at one of the auction sites I bid at which is still crazy.

They had it for $359, so a little extra profit for the shop....which I'm good with. Certainly not the $2.5-3k you see in the secondary market. It will probably sit for a bit before I decide.
