I have a nice razor that has been sitting for years.  The blade is dull and tarnished.  Is there anywhere I can send it to get it fixed up?

Polish with some 3000 grit wet or dry and sharpen on a diamond stone.  Not hard, just takes time

What a timely thread- I just rediscovered my grand-dad's last straight razor, and it needs some TLC before I can use it. This is one of the few razors that my venerable ancestor didn't "improve" unto worthlessness.

Thanks for the replies everyone.  I'm usually a DIYer but I don't have a lot of time nowadays.  I'm starting a new job soon and unfortunately going to have to start shaving again.

I would suggest www.maggardrazors.com or www.whippeddog.com .
