Every day I see flatbed trucks loaded with MRAPs going south on 395, probably coming from Sierra Army Depot.
|
|
It’s not like there’s a National Training Center down around the southern terminus of 395. Or an equipment storage facility.
|
|
Probably going to get shipped to China to be melted down into new Harbor Freight tools.
The big heavy bitches aren't of much use anywhere CONUS. I see them in the DRMO yard almost daily. |
|
Potato head is getting ready to execute order 66 and terminate all the MAGA’s.
Come on man, keep up. QRSTUV |

To a police department in your community.
Partly because of federal programs to make repurposing .mil equipment relatively cheap. At least at first. Partly to combat the "right-wing extremism" that our government pinky-promises is the biggest threat imaginable. |

The feds are pre-planting equipment to quell the election rebellion and what will no doubt be a false false flag emp grid down event to cover it all up.

Wow I googled sierra army depot, that place has a shit ton of equipment.
|

You know that almost every month an entire brigade moves to the National Training Center in CA to train? Usually a unit's equipment is shipped by rail but often times some equipment is trucked.
If I had to say it's "probably" something, it's probably that. |

View Quote Honestly that’s probably it. Shipping them to Charleston or one of the Gulf sea ports to go overseas |

View Quote Wow....Russia destroyed a lot of those. Wonder how many we sent. |

I thought a lot of them went to local police and assorted 3 letter agencies no?

View Quote I'd rather them be sent there than sending money we don't have to go into the pockets of those corrupt MF'ers. We don't really have a use for them right now and they're just going to rot. |

Normally, but all those Wal-Mart basements are nearly empty now as they are putting all their holiday stuff out of storage & up on the shelves for consumers to buy. Come April-June the basements might not be so empty ... Bigger_Hammer |

My BFE sheriff's dept got one to play with. I suggested they get a howitzer to go with it to cover all the bases.

A few years ago, a scumbag shot up a family (killed all except a little girl who played dead in a bloody pile with her murdered family) and was trying to make a get away under gunfire. Two MRAPS sandwiched his getaway car. End of Chase. Sadly, they didn't drive back and forth over the car like Monster Trucks to crush that shitbag to a flounder - but they sure should have! Bigger_Hammer View Quote All the various versions of armored transports have been hitting the scrap pile for a while. I remember thousands parked at Redstone that had never even been driven getting sent to the scrappers back 6-7 years ago. Nowadays it's easier for cities to apply for a federal LE grant and buy a brand new truck from the manufacturer than it is to get one from the DOD. |

Cops locally acquired one, very proud of it..till it was pointed out, they do ok for IEDS..no so good for direct fire an once the tires catch on fire..it's done.

Our cops got some this last year. And they wear plate carriers (minus rifle mags) on a daily basis. Every time there’s a parade or something around here I feel like I’m living under marshal law with all the IFVs and dudes in tac gear all over. Really different than how it was even a few years ago.
