Was going out to check the cars, lights, & fence gates, and momentarily thought about borrowing the Chasspot sword bayonet. I think maybe I should get a US sword to carry around at night in addition to my primary.

I regularly patrol my neighborhood at night with a halberd
Can't be too careful, there's weird people out there |

I've got this big ass Schrade machete in a hard plastic scabbard.
It was on clearance two weeks ago at a local farm and home store. Nine freaking dollars is what I paid for it. It is black with a nice big rubber handle. The blade is quite thick for what it is as well. Gladiator special is what it is! I'm in!! Lol |

Medieval can opener, the halberd. You can poke 'em, smack 'em, and slash 'em, wow!

Does it had a rail on the sword for mounting laser/light module.

Damn....Blade has really fallen on some hard times lately. |

I still have a Mk.12 plastic brick entry stock. It’s a very adequate home defense item. Seriously though, you could beat someone to death with it.

Clearly justification to buy a drone with IR / Thermal capacity.
And, if you do see some "No good-nik" skulking around your place, then unleash a Hellfire or two down upon his criminal noggin! Ka-Boom! Crime Recidivist rate dropping like a rock! Bigger_Hammer |

It's Smaahy. Based off of his history I was expecting an atlatl. He may be the only person alive who knows how those things are supposed to work. My own blade for such encounters is a kukri. But I don't really know how well it'd work because they're meant to be borne by men small and Asian, not large and Polish. |

Windless basketed Claymore
Attached File ETA: I don't use my expensive 5 bar rapier for checking the yard. That'd just be gauche. |

P-1907 sword bayonet. 17" of pointy steel, with a Short, Magazine Lee-Enfield along for the ride.
