And they were not too honest in their dealings with customers by not mailing stuff out etc, per lots of people's accounts. i would still love to have a Byron P-51 with the geared drive. |

Repaired my Kraton 8S for the first time. I've been blown away how damn strong this thing is. It's almost bulletproof. Was launching it 60-70' on father's day and had a blind landing and it landed wonky.  broke a shock end and two battery straps. Got the shock ends in today. Was impressed the shock shaft was still straight. Granted it is 5mm thick.

Rovan baja 5b, 1/5th scale 30cc 2 stroke fun machine. It's something i bought back in 2020 after dusting off my old nitro rc collection and finding out that parts were unavailable, and options for a replacement were few to none. Then i ran across the hpi china clone, hpi being long gone, but the baja lived on! Parts are easy and cheap, and i don't need to worry about sourcing nitro rc fuel. I have beat the living hell out of it, it's on its second chassis since i snapped the original in half. It now has all of the reccomended reinforcements. Last outing i blew out a rear shock seal jumping curbs in my culdesac, and the pull starter broke taking out some cooling fins on the flywheel. Parts arrive today to fix it! It's probably also overdue for a teardown, cleaning, and lubing of the gearbox. |

Attached File Attached File This the old Pro Modeler (former DML/Dragon) 1/48 TA-154. I’ve been picking away at it for the last few months…which is sad because I selected it to be a quick build. Spare time is just not on my side. I need to wrap it up soon, because I want to take on the Zoukei Mura 1/32 FW-190A4 this winter. That’ll be a long project for sure. |

Been putting this Revo 3.3 back together for a few days now. Picked it up local from a Graigslist ad for $125. Had some issues which I figured it would. This one is around 12 or 13 years old I think. Dry rotted tires and very dirty/sticky from sitting in an attic for a few years. The radio gear all works, early Traxxas 2.4ghz 3ch set up. I had to replace the receiver battery. The guy who had it took the reverse stuff out of it. Going to replace that stuff. The engine runs but has some kind of issue when it warms up. Called Traxas to ask about it and they said it might be a bent rod. Traxxas said send it in and they will replace it for half price, some kind of program they have. The TRX 3.3 engine is $200 bucks, they sold me one for $100. Thought this was very cool of them to do since I bought it used and it is old. Got that back yesterday and started putting it back together. ETA pic thread. swapped out the cheap injora plastic scx10 trans on my crawler to a nicer cheap trans today.  |

RMRC Anaconda is partially assembled. Currently I'm laying out all the autopilot and electronics parts while I wait for some glue to arrive. Then some combat jet projects before I start working on my TBRC Warlock and spec wings. Then in late January I'll have an rc skydiver coming in. That should be a fun diversion

I'm using a Cube Orange (Ardupilot based) since I need more experience with it for work. I'm printing a case for the telemetry radios and just finished the case for the pitot at the moment  Buddy of mine still has at least one Vector I think, he used to love those but I never used them. |

Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800kv motor, Hitec 9381 servo, Axial Wraith tranny, RC4WD transfercase, Vanquish Currie Rockjock 70 axles, 2.2 SSD wheels with RC4WD Rok Lox. I made the cage out of .265" titanium rod to keep the weight and COG down, the chassis is steel with 1/4 rod for the bumpers and sliders. It's the the home stretch now, some body work, shock mounting and final welding, then it's time to paint it. Also have some lights to install. |

Pretty cool to see how nimble this plane is.  Maiden Flight Of My New E-flite Slow Ultra Stick 1.2m BNF! My worry is what the heck did I get myself into. Always wanted an RC aircraft since junior high in the early 90’s. Now that I have fun money, time to have some fun. I’m already eyeing a second trainer. The ugly Aeroscout, yet it’s supposed to take a beating. Since I already have a transmitter and Batts, I might just order it and learn on that before piloting the SUS. |

Hey guys, some introductions ... I just learned we had this forum, I had no idea! I build mostly 1/43 white metal kits of historic race cars (F1, Le Mans, etc.) And have also been dabbling in 1/12 scale which is overwhelmingly large! Here is my work area, currently working on Ferrari's 1999 Formula 1 car, and some pictures of a few past projects. Would like to do a build thread at some point if people are interested in the scale?
