I use to have muzzle break on everything. Rolling Thunder, JP. Loved being able to see hits or misses at distance. Not shooting 3-gun as much so I changed to ASR flash hiders on everything.
Much quieter

Picked one up on sale a few months ago in anticipation for my sandman S and have to say I really like the muzzle break

I don’t know if I can tell a difference between that and the keymo break from dead air but it looks cool

This. very much this. It keeps the appealing lines, look, size, and weight of the classic A2 (most are too damned big), with design features that divert the blast in a way so as to keep the blast and concushion way down, while still being a pretty good break. Basically it has an internal cone that blows the blast out at a 45degree angle, vs the more typical baffles that blow the blast back at a 90 degree angle, and you can definitely hear and and your face can feel the difference, while still having reduced recoil by a good bit.

The newest edition of the BattleComp. I had a pre-production sample and it makes the dot just sit where you put it while you shoot. It even shrank the groups of the ammo I was using by a bit when I was zeroing the gun. It's pretty fuckin' cool.

Are any flash hiders quiter than an A2 while still reduced/diffusing muzzle flash?

I certainly notice some are LOUDER, but the yhm and others I have seem to do pretty much the same thing as my classic birdcages.

I like the VG6 Gamma on my 3gun rifle because it works really really good at recoil mitigation. But its LOUD AS FUCK

Best value I’ve found is the Venom stuff.

J comp works and isn’t terribly loud. Liked the V1 more though.

2A T3 toes the line between obnoxious and actually working
