Quoted: If you are a vegetarian, why would you need vegetables that look like meat? View Quote Not a vegetarian, but the vegetarians I know eat those because when they're out with friends, or they're grilling, they can eat a "burger" like everyone else, and not have to go without or be the butt of jokes from everyone around them. I see it as a win-win. Vegetarian friend hanging out with me... let's go to Carl's Jr. They can get a plant burger, I can get a Guacamole bacon burger. |

It ain't meat.
2020 tofu with a lot of undesirable ingredients. Some like it, I don't. BK snuck one in on me one day. Took it to the counter and told them the patty was rancid. They said it was an Impossible burger and no one could tell the difference. I could. Left it there and haven't been back. Didn't even bother to ask for my money back. I used to like BK. |

I had an impossible burger at red robin last year. It was pretty good, and Kinda surprised me. They have a ways to go before it tastes 100% like real meat.

The original is good, the onion added is better. Since LostWife developed a beef allergy (or what ever they feed them before the processing), we have had to find a lot of alternatives. I think I prefer these to a lot of beef patties. |

Kind of curious if this has a higher profit margin than a normal beef burger.
There must be demand for this sort of product to bother offering and advertising it. |

I tried that stuff. I think it’s basically some type of bean and other vegan approved natural chemicals that come close to the taste and texture of beef.
I tried it several times. To me the stuff is kind of “empty” compared to actual beef when it comes to feeling full after the meal. I was not satisfied with the meal and stopped using it. IMO bean and plant protein does not have the same quality protein of an animal protein. It probably lacks the building blocks to build muscle if your lifting. I’d like to see a comparison of amino building blocks is way a pea Vs a Steak. |

I have never understood vegetarians and vegans wanting to eat things that resemble meat. I thought that meat repulsed them. They miss meat so much that they want something that tastes like it.
Mental illness. |

If you want to eat it, go for it. But don't try and tell me it's healthier than normal meat. Somehow 22+ ingredients & processing is more healthy than beef? I don't buy it.

It's funny, in Cyberpunk 2077 it's all fake meat that the people on the street eat. V meets a dude butchering chickens and mentions that it's illegal. Strangely accurate that game is.
