Add Gods and Generals to that list.

If those 4 don’t suit you I don’t know what to say.

It's a shame we will probably never get Last Full Measure made. No way the PC Police will ever let that be made today.  Ted Turner is 80 and the director of Gettysburg and G&G is 70 means someone else will have to take the project on. Sad the trilogy will probably end.

Raintree County

To me it's like Gone With the wind 1950's style, only with Mongomery Clift, Lee Marvin, and Elizabeth Taylor.

I agree, but of course I'd insist that a guy also watched Gods and Generals.  Preferably after doing some reading, studying maps, and visiting battlefields.

It also had Rene Zellwegger who absolutely ruined the movie.  It's awful.  Avoid at all costs.

Honorable mention to The Great Locomotive Chase…old school Disney movie about the raid that ended up with the first MoH recipients.

Never seen it, but is there any reason to avoid other than some breadtube libtard's opinion? Not watching a 41 min video, got to 10 seconds and i've seen a birth of a nation

Not pro confederasaaah, or southern, but the modern pop culture hysteria is a wild thing to behold

I saw this, it was an interesting flick. Guess elijah wood should disavow if he hasn't already

Because Chancellorsville, Fredericksburg, and Antietam.

And Jonathan Thomas Jackson.

It's hard to believe a movie was made post 2000 that wasn't lib brained or "apologist". Erreybody just making dumbshit?

Gettysburg.  Glory is a very close second.  I say this as a civil war reanactor.  In fact my father was associated in both movies.

Ride With the Devil is an excellent film. Some of it must be based on "The Devil Knows How to Ride" which is an excellent biography of Quantrill.

The answer is Ken Burns “The Civil War”. But that’s like a 20 hour documentary.

The best Hollywood production is “Gettysburg”. I also thoroughly enjoy “Gods and Generals”, though it has mixed reviews.
