Too short (lack of lung capacity) to be bigfoot or dogman.

OP, here.

First off, I've hunted this area numerous times over many years and never heard this before.

Second, talked to the landowner and a few other landowners in the area and they told me it was frogs.  They all said they were likely out because of the rain they recently had.

It was a little creepy hearing these, but what scared me the most.....

As I was driving down a 2 track through this field, I was spotlighting to my left and didn't notice a momma cow to my right.  With the frogs making their noise and the Moooo that momma let out right as I went by her, I did get the shivers!

Sorry to the responder that didn't like my thermal.

Seriously though.  You'd think with frogs you'd hear a form of Rib-it.  Not this shrieking, my sticky tongue is stuck to my nuts, please help me, noise.

Depending on time of year and rain, I can distinctly hear at least 5 different kinds of frogs and toads at night.  They can get crazy loud.
