Oyster City Brewing Company in Apalachicola.
I love their Hooter Brown (when I can find it). It tastes almost identical via tap or can.
Their Helles won a gold medal at this year's World Beer Cup

Hoppin' Frog Brewing CO., Akron, Ohio. If you are a serious stout (especially Russian Imperial Stout) check it out. World class quality IMO.

1. Omg!!! Now we know what state you live in.

2. I’ve had a barrel aged hardwood that I hated. But yeah. Most of their stuff is solid.

Its been a long time since I cared enough to constantly try different things, but with ABs stunt a ceased Busch consumption, and have been "soul searching" a bit for others.

Recently tried a few from Lake of the Woods when I was up in Ontario, and was pretty pleased. They have a brewery on the Minnesota side of the lake, too, and being only a couple hours away, local stores carry some of their varieties.

Seems any city over a couple thousand people has one now, but I generally find brew pubs somewhat obnoxious, so if it's not available from a retailer, it's unlikely I have or will try it

I like to head up just over the border in Wisconsin and get some Spotted Cow from New Glarus Brewing if I want something different than a Euro import or macro.  I'm not much on IPAs and all that stuff.

There are no microbreweries in Colorado. All we have is Coors, which I think tastes like watery NyQuil.

Giving up Goose Island is one of the two things that actually stung about boycotting InBev/Transheiser-Busch. Who, BTW, bought out Goose Island a few years ago. The buyout got a whole chapter in that canonization piece of a book that also devoted a chapter or two to describing how Jesse Jackass strongarming AB into giving his son a distributorship was a good thing.

NoVA has so many microbreweries it's hard to pick one. Port City, Old Bust Head, and Adroit Theory are some of my favorites.

I also love DuClaw out of Baltimore, MD - they make super wacky beers like Unicorn Farts (a sour made with Fruity Pebbles).

Truth…I can’t swing a cat by the tail without hitting a good local brewery.
My favorites are a bit of drive from NOVA
In order:
Strangeways in Richmond and F-Burg
Adroit Theory. They also some really cool names and artwork for their beer. During the scamdemic I was drinking a lot of The Death Of Civilization In Slow Motion, I thought it fitting of the times.

Closer to me Aslin is really good also
Settle Down Easy is okay but they get the nod because of the name

I won't speak for the entire state, but near downtown Cleveland two stand-outs are:

Noble Beast Brewing Co. and Masthead Brewing Co., both conveniently within a few miles of each other.

There are plenty of others that are also excellent in Northeast Ohio though.

Great Lakes has some great beers, but is far from a micro-brewery.

Bosque used to be a regular go to for me, just not a fan anymore.  Although I do agree with you about the Scotia, that is still a regular winter beer for me.
Still frequent Santa Fe and La Cumbre.
