Five pounds of it...
Solid food...not beer...etc Must be at least as thick as stew... Eat in 1 hour or less.... I'm not sure I could with any food....but I could make a serious dent in that weight of M&M peanuts or extra toasty cheese-its. EDIT... 5 pounds is actual food consumed...not "pre-meal" weight. If you're picking crab legs, crayfish, lobster etc... shells and discards don't count in the 5 pounds..... |

Nothing I could eat that much.
I guess I’ll try some really good steak. |
Probably something pretty homogeneous, like a mountain of pasta or mashed potatoes. I couldn't do a 5 pound steak or sandwich.
Steamed shrimp with old bay.
I could also knock out crawfish, I would need more time. |
No way I could eat 5 pounds of anything, but I’d give it a try with smoked brisket.
After the last Army 10 miler I ran, I ate 2 pounds of steamed peel and eat shrimp. |
Oysters.
Steamed clams. Crab legs. I might not make it to five, but I'll make a decent dent |
Crawfish is cheating. Five pounds only equals maybe a pound. I couldn’t eat five pounds of it but I can tear up some gumbo or chicken fajitas with good salsa.
Buffalo wings, though that may be cheating since 5 lbm of wings is only like 3-3.5 lbm of actual meat.
I just had something so I'm out.
... The next time beef stew is made I'll see how much I can eat at one sitting.... I don't think I'll be able to do 5 pounds, but I'll surely make a dent in potential leftovers. |

I'm gonna go with 5 pounds of Thick and Creamy Kraft mac and cheese. Probably like 2 and a half boxes? Gimme a shit ton of black pepper and I'll make a valiant effort at it.

room temperature lox on a toasted bagel with cold cream cheese
Olive Garden Zupa Toscana soup, it's heavy, it's liquid and it's delicious.

I once ate an extra large pizza, a salad, and probably 5 or six beers in one sitting. It was not a dare. I was just hungry.
End of a bicycle stage race. |
Tacos.
But 5 pounds of anything might as well be a metric shit ton. |
I'd have to go with crab legs, shrimp, or chicken wings. Easy
