River dance extras use to cycle through the Dublin Square bar in San Diego on Fri/ Sat night when I used to hang there all the time in 2002-2004.

Used to help the ol' man at the "social club" as a kid. It was a giant hall. Every Saturday and Sunday they did dance lessons for the local Irish.
I used to feel SO sorry for those kids... They beat 'em with sticks when they fucked up. The butch instructors weren't even nuns...

Actually, took the wife to see it last year at the FOX in ATL and had a great time.
The only downside was the BLM bullshit that opened the second act. Granted, they were great Jazz dancers. I just didn't know there was any black BLM Jazz dancers in Ireland and I questioned myself why I was having to watch it when I paid to watch a bunch of lilly white Irish chicks. We did get to meet a bunch of the dancers as we waited on our Uber. Nice enough people. |
