Whiskey? Bourbon? Rum? Port? Beer?
I'm probably going to open a bottle of Aberlour 16 later to go with a RP Decade cameroon. Haven't had either yet We'll see how that pairs out. |

Varies....In no certain order: Buffalo Trace, Evan Williams Single Barrel, Michters, Yellowstone, Woodford Reserve.
Sometimes Jack Daniels in/out of Coke. Find what you like! |

Bourbon, simple old fashioned made with rye. If I'm in a situation where I can't have alcohol, my go to with a cigar is Dr Pepper. I don't drink it otherwise.
I tend to not mix my cigars and drinks.
I'd prefer to get the full flavor of either rather than mix them. Now, non alcoholic drinks I pair with my smokes tend to be things like coffee or chocolate based stuff. Java Monsters, YooHoos, that sort if thing |

Back before I traded tobacco for my wife, its was bourbon while smoking and a Dr. Pepper when done.
Dunkin Donuts coffee. Used to be 18 yo scotch. Coffee is good though.
I too prefer to not mix them but if I am, I want a dark bourbon barrel stout.

Rye Manhattan would be first place, old fashioned, bourbon, scotch, martini, lager or a malty beer, wine.
Beer, or bourbon if I can have alcohol at that time.
Root beer or Dr. Pepper if I can’t |
Any good bourbon.
Scotch depending on whether it will pair with the cigar. My new favorite Glendronach Original 12 is the best pairing scotch I've ever found. Has lots of dark chocolate in the finish. Lagavulin 16 usually works with the strong spicy cigars I prefer. Laphroaig can be tricky because it will overpower almost anything. Good strong coffee or espresso always works well, especially with cubans. Cubans to me have a lot of dessert flavors - cream, fruit, sweet spices - and what goes better with a rich dessert than coffee or espresso? Much of the time I'll choose just water because that way I have nothing distracting me from the flavors in the cigar itself. Have heard that root beer is a good match but haven't tried it myself. Would like to try a good aged rum. I bet that would go well. |

Quoted: Water View Quote Lime La Croix if I’m smoking something that I’m really interested in. Most alcohol mutes the cigar, so I tend to stay away from that if I’m lighting something really exceptional. Otherwise, it’s bourbon (Russel’s SiB, Eagle Rare, Henry McKenna, OF 1920, Jefferson’s of some sort, Blanton’s, etc.), coffee, or Dr. Pepper. Don’t know exactly why, but Dr. Pepper and cigars really work. |

I’ve never had a good Rocky Patel. I’ve had “not bad” ones, but never “good.”
As for the drink, it depends on mood. I’ll do scotch if drinking at home/neighbors. Too expensive at the bar. Manhattans with Bulleit usually there. |

Bourbon, monster, whatever. If I drank bourbon with every cigar I would be drunk all day.

NC stores sell it for ~$35, and it’s a great bourbon at that price. I wouldn’t pay much more than that, and I’m definitely not going to chase it trying to find a bottle, but it’s one of those that I’ll buy if it’s on the shelf. Otherwise, Russell’s Reserve 10 is equally as good and much easier to find. |

Coke or Mountain Dew. The sugar helps fight off any nicotine sickness.
Bourbon or dirty martinis if I’m looking for something alcoholic; espresso or orange juice when I’m on the wagon
Sweet tea, water, or Dr. Pepper. I’ve never found a cigar/alcohol combo I liked.
I have drank bourbon, Dr. Pepper, coffee including mocha iced coffee, sweet tea and Baileys with mine.
Rhinegeist Whiffle is my go to.
If I’m smoking a decent amount, Apple Cider and Wild Turkey Honey for the sugar content. |
Water mostly, but coffee with heavy whipping cream, and a shot of stevia.
Depends on the cigar. Most times I'll have coffee or beer. Spirits occasionally.
some form of whisky
it feels weird now if I go to a friends house or a lounge and burn a stick without a dram. the experience is so much better with both. |
Coffee in the morning, bourbon or rum in the evening, cream soda in the afternoon
I normally drink some bourbon...Blantons, Hancock Reserve, Eagle Rare, etc but will occasionally drink beer like a bourbon barrel stout or a Shiner. I might have to try the Dr. Pepper though. That actually sounds good and I dont even drink soda.

Bourbon or Rye. Normally straight, occasionally in an old fashioned. Angels envy rye is my favorite, with or without a cigar. I enjoy trying anything new though.
Certain scotchs pair incredibly well, macallan fine oak being one. I won’t pair a peaty scotch with a cigar as the cigar tends to drown out the peat flavor. |
Manhattan. Usually Bulleit. Maybe Woodford or Knob neat. Unless I’m feeling scotchy, then it’s Macallan or Balvenie.

Just had some Chatanooga Whiskey 111 proof bourbon with an Ave Maria Divinia. Great pairing
