Looking at industry, I think they all banded together and decided to not honor the NRA discount.

Is there any major rental car company left that are gun friendly???

Inquiring business owners need to know

I might be wrong, but didn't the organizations enter a contract with the NRA to do be a member of the discount club?  Why isn't the NRA suing these companies that break contact?

Enterprise owns National/Alamo, so none of the nationwide car rental companies appear to be left.

Well that settles it.  Who's going to start the new company?

ARFCOM Rent A Car?

Let's get the fleet started

Arfcom Rent a Car would only have Tacomas in the fleet...

Except for the random Miata for those secure in their masculinity.

Maybe a partnership with KIA could be hammered out if LP signed on as the principal fleet mechanic.

I have no choice. I am executive elite with national and my company car is managed by enterprise. I know it's the same company.

Meh . . . my AARP membership gets me a better discount anyway.

Anyone that based their NRA membership on the value of a few half-ass travel discounts, isn't in this for the right reasons to begin with.

It was a sad day for us long time National employees when Enterprise bought us. Every year they have owned us it has gotten worse. Three more years till I retire it can't come fast enough.

Most don't us the NRA discounts that much.  It is more the attitude. Wyndham dropped the NRA discount last year, no big deal I get better prices through Wyndham rewards. Wyndham didn't drop NRA for political reasons.

That has nothing to do with it. It’s about boycotting the companies that cut ties with the NRA because of political pressure.

Not going to work in every situation, but it is not uncommon for dealerships to rent cars.

I'm cancelling my Enterprise reservation in Amsterdam and going with Sixt. I don't know about their political positions, and that is the way it should be.
