Update from Mark's wife "Hello Fluffy. Visited Mark today. Not much change. He still can't move. He's in pain but I think it is more sensor related. Talks up a storm. He is going to be moved to another facility in a few days. I'll let you know when that happens." |

Further update: When I spoke to Mark this morning he was laughing and cracking jokes. He said that he missed Suzie and Looney and that he wanted me to give them extra hugs. I told him that Looney has beaten cancer and Mark wants me to get her a delicious steak |

@FluffyTheCat et al... I visited Mark today on my way to Kentucky. He is definitely coming along. He is putting up a good fight. He is in pain a lot of the time, but he is remembering things. He is repeating things but doing great! I'm so grateful I was able to stop in. I hope it brightened his day. He remembered his code to unlock his phone and after a few hoops to jump through (damn international call plans) we were able to get a call out to Fluffy and they talked for about 10 minutes. Sorry for the confusion Fluffy! My receptionist got caught off-guard there for a minute. Mark's phone nor mine could make a call to Canada so I called my receptionist and she called Fluffy and had him call us so I could answer his phone for him - it all worked out! He really cheered up when he heard your voice and talked about the pups! I told him he need to get up and chase the nurses down the hallway. He had another rescue acquaintance (Erin) come in as I was on my way out, so he had extra company. |
