Let's be honest. We had ZIRP for what, 10 years?
You can't inject that kind of capital into the economy without some inflation. I'm still buying the market, every single paycheck. But I fully expect there to be some turbulent times ahead. I just wish it would start tomorrow and not next year. We can't recover until we fall and it could be a big one this time. The world isn't gonna end. But to think we won't have a significant recession is stupid and ignores the facts. At least the fed is raising rates. If they didn't, they'd have no bullets left unless you want negative interest rates, and I want no part of that shit. For the all the things I loved about Trump, he was wrong on negative interest rates. Dead wrong. |
