I have been looking for a decent priced mini bike for several months and finally found a good deal. $200 and in almost new condition.

I will be fabricating a trailer hitch for it next week and making a small trailer for hauling firewood from my barn to the house. Nothing big, just about what a wheel barrow would hold.

6.5 horse power and some kind of torque converter. I'll mount a LED light on the front and rear too.

Thinking about replacing the factory rear sprocket with a larger one for more bottom end. I don't need it to be fast. 15 mph would be plenty.

6'2" 270# and it goes up a pretty good incline with ease.

I had pretty much the same setup, except with an 8hp engine as my first 2-wheeler in high school. It started a long, deep, spiral into motorcycle addiction that lasts to this very day of my 66 years.

After Labor Day I'm heading out for a 3-week dirt motor trip in the mountains of NM and UT. Be careful OP...if you're not already a junky, you might become one...LOL!

One of my neighbors went down the road on one of these, with his 5-6 year old son on his lap. Neither were wearing shirts nor helmets, and there was lots of traffic going both directions.

I love living in the country...

I bought a similar one for my daughter earlier this year. Easily worth the $250 price of entry. I'm 225 lbs and it moves me just fine. Be careful though, things escalate quickly. I've bought two other motorcycles since then and will probably have another in the next six months.

It's funny how one of the more popular rages in the motorcycle industry right now is that category of bike like the Honda Grom...Kawasaki makes an identical model. They're selling like hotcakes...or maybe XM193. The Groms and such are just more sophisticated mini-bikes for this day and age...and they're street legal.
