Washington Bill Allows Authorities to ‘Involuntarily Detain’ Unvaccinated Families

A new bill has been introduced in Washington state that authorizes a “strike force” with powers to “involuntary detain” unvaccinated Americans and their families.

The state’s Legislature is due to vote on the measure that allows the involuntary detainment of residents as young as 5 years old in “isolation” facilities.

The legislation, W 246-100-040, outlines “Procedures for isolation or quarantine.”

If passed, it will allow local health officers at “his other sole discretion” to “issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine.”

The measure also gives additional powers to health officers to deploy law enforcement officials to assist with the arrest of Washington residents who refuse to comply.

According to the bill, “a local health officer may invoke the powers of police officers, sheriffs, constables, and all other officers and employees of any political subdivisions within the jurisdiction of the health department to enforce immediately orders given to effectuate the purposes of this section in accordance with the provisions of RCW 43.20.050(4) and 70.05.120.”

The “emergency detention order” legalizes the isolation and detainment of American citizens who fail to voluntarily comply with the state’s vaccination agenda “for a period not to exceed ten days.”

However, a judge may extend the forced quarantine “for a period not to exceed thirty days” if the segregated individual or family continues to refuse vaccination.

The Washington State Board of Health will hold a virtual public meeting on January 12 to discuss the application of W 246-100-040.

Why do people post these social media lies and trash from the Grifter Pundit?

Fact: The legislature isn't voting on anything. WAC 246-100-040 has been the law since 1991 and was last revised in 2003. THIS... IS.... THE.... LAW.... NOW.

Fact: Every single State has a similar version of this law.
https://www.ncsl.org/research/health/state-quarantine-and-isolation-statutes.aspx

Most of them were enacted or revised in the mid to late 1980s.

Fact: These have nothing to do with forced vaccinations. The statute doesn't even apply to anyone unless they have been exposed, contaminated or infected in a manner that is likely to immediately danger others. Read 1(b) and 1(c) regarding what is required.

Fact: The board already made clear: “Agenda item 9, while related to rulemaking on chapter 246-100 WAC, is scoped only to the implementation of ESHB 1551 (Chapter 76, Laws of 2020) and does not include changes to isolation and quarantine policies nor does it suggest law enforcement be used to enforce any vaccination requirements."

I am so tired of the tards on "our" side, who just mindlessly regurgitate social media propaganda designed to make conservatives look like fools.

If you want to have a conversation about how this law was poorly written, fine. That's legitimate. But to make up stuff and claim the legislature is trying to put into place a new law, or to claim that this is about forced vaccination only makes us look like lunatics.

Local health officer is also "at his other sole discretion" to make decisions that may cause himself to get shot in the face.

This is WA. The very next day they would introduce a ballot measure to remove firearms from the homes of unvaccinated individuals for the safety of local health officers.

It would probably go nowhere, but they would try it

You are literally the only person here who mentioned forced vaccination. Which has nothing to do with the law being cited.

I have noted the lefties talking about it this way in their usual tactic of misdirection, Mr Glowman.

These people will deserve what happens next.  If it’s already a law on the books, I’m sure the Dems won’t dust it off and abuse it or anything.

Wrong. The Grifter Pundit’s first version of this story made distinct claims. Among those were:

1. This was a proposed bill.
2. It would allow detention of unvaccinated people in quarantine camps.

The Grifter Pundit story has been quietly rewritten after people called them out for lying.

There’s no misdirection. This has been the law since 1991 (revised in 2003). That’s just a fact. So the claim that this is a proposed law, is a lie.

Every state has a version of it.

Here is Texas’ law: https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/HS/htm/HS.81.htm

This is NOT some grand conspiracy to lock up vaccine resisters. This applies when someone has been exposed, contaminated or infected with a radiological, biological or chemical agent AND they pose an immediate and serious risk to others AND they won’t voluntarily quarantine.

Let’s play a game:

Let’s say someone is infected with a new form of Ebola. It is easy spread person to person, is airborne, and unlike COVID, has a 99% fatality rate.

Should the State be permitted to have laws in place to quarantine a person with such an active infection, who refused to voluntarily quarantine and wants to spread it to others?

Yes or no?

Now do you understand why every State has this, and it has nothing to do with FEMA camps or Covid?

I’m not vaccinated for COVID. I’ve personally litigated vaccine mandate issues. I’m on the front lines actually fighting real government overreach instead of fighting invented boogeymen on the internet.

I’m sorry that you were lied to by social media and the Grifter Pundit on this one.

What do you think this is about? The freakin headline was “oh Noez they are going to put the unvaccinated in camps!!!!”

“Bill Filed In Washington Would Authorize ‘Strike Force’ To ‘Involuntarily Detain’ Unvaccinated Families: ‘They Have Already Set Up The Internment Camps’.”

You are angry because someone pointed out that this was a lie and fear porn.

I noticed that you have no comment on the fact that this has been the law since 1991, that it has nothing to do with covid, and you won’t answer the hypothetical.

Have you read Missouri’s quarantine statute? It actually has less procedural protections than the Washington Statute.

—————————
(1) The local health authority, the director of the Department of Health or the director’s designated representative shall require isolation of a patient or animal with a communicable disease, quarantine of contacts, concurrent and terminal disinfection, or modified forms of these procedures necessary for the protection of the public health. The isolation of a patient, animal or contact shall be carried out according to the methods of control in 19 CSR 20-20.040(1).

(2) No person or animal infected with or suspected of having a communicable disease list- ed in 19 CSR 20-20.020(1)–(3) or any contact of a disease subject to quarantine or isolation shall move or be moved from one (1) health jurisdiction to another, unless necessary for medical care, without notice to and consent from the local health authority, the director of the Department of Health or the director’s designated representative. If a person is moved for the reason of medical care, the health authority who ordered the isolation or quarantine shall be notified within seventy-two (72) hours.

(3) The local health authority, the director of the Department of Health or the director’s designated representative is empowered to close any public or private school or other place of public or private assembly when, in the opinion of the local health authority, the director of the Department of Health or the director’s designated representative, the closing is necessary to protect the public health. Any school or other place of public or private assembly that is ordered closed shall not reopen until permitted by whomever ordered the closure.

I have no doubt GP is making shit up. It’s kind of his thing. Yet, you’re the one writing walls of text when asked why you brought up forced vaccination when the article appears to be about detention of people carrying a dangerous biological agent…and I’m the angry one?

Ok.

I'll reiterate what I just said in the GD about this. I'm going to use movies because they tell you what's coming.

In the movie Songbird, they build Q-Zones (Quarantine Zones) which are concentration camps for people infected with a virulent strain of COVID known as COVID-23. If you're infected with it, you get whisked away into one of the camps.

The TV series The Strain also has references to concentration camps. If you watched the series, you'll note that The Strain was a form of vampirism that broke out in NYC and spread across the world by infection of parasitic worms controlled by the Master. The parasitic worms and infection are a symbolic reference to "Globohomo" and the plot to take over the world.

The fact that they're building concentration camps or quarantine zones as they like to put it, from a planned pandemic, and legislation exists to involuntarily detain an individual, should be no surprise. They flat-out tell you what's coming.

They’ll use any existing laws to advance their war against the unvaccinated and later all gun owners. We already know they want us arrested, dead or in camps. Talk to any libtard for more than a few minutes and this becomes blatantly obvious.
