Dick move.
And stupid. |

I just checked and I can see the entire web site without logging in.

Next time the popup says to click here to view single ladies in your area just know they aren't hot, single, or in your area and you just downloaded computer aids instead.

You might have a virus that is trying to trick you into giving up credentials.

To prevent shoplifting, same reason they lock everything up now

I'm seeing it with some links, but not others.
Item searches all go to login. Weird. |

Clear cache, clear cookies, try again.
Or try in a private window, which won't use all those. |

If your VPN or ip is blacklisted they do that with the logins. but it's easy to change your ip when you use a VPN so it's easy to circumvent.

No problem here. Maybe you have a cookie that you would want to delete, or something. Or, maybe the bookmark you saved is direct to the login screen.
I heard they have razors and herr straightner on lockdown. |

On the flip side, the Walmart website is a combination of the worst elements of Amazon and Ebay. When you buy from Walmart.com; you get some hopelessly bad knock-off with a delivery system that consists basically of a kid on a bike who will swing by in 3 weeks, to throw the item on your door. And it won't be the item as described on the website.
Seriously, their website is just a hosting site for 3rd-tier random fuck suppliers, with no QC and no coordinated shipping program. I'm not a huge fan of Amazon's destruction of retail America; but holy shit - whenever I try to buy from the likes of Walmart.com, the experience is so much lesser. And I usually end up paying more. I'm more than a little shocked that Walmart, the worlds largest retail store with those resources, can't come up with a competing offering to Amazon. They aren't even trying. I'm not kidding, Walmart making it difficult to use their site is a Service. |

How can they track you and your purchases if you don't log in?

I have seen that before.
I have closed the browser and tried again and it usually works fine after that. |

On two different machines, one a phone? I just checked both my work PCs and my phone, no login required. None for the other 87 folks here either. I even tried different browsers. Seems its something on your end. I am curious as to what it is though. Let us know if you find out. |
