UPDATE 05-13-2024
Thanks to all who made it to Supper Club 2024, I feel like it was overall a success and luckily the weather cooperated with us. The BBQ the night before was a blast, lots of interesting conversations, and hopefully y'all enjoyed the food. Special thanks to @TrainSafe and @Lug1 for stepping up and helping out with keeping this thread up to date in my absence, it was much appreciated! Now.....who is in for a repeat next year? If there's enough interest to do this again, I will gladly set it up. I would like to do something more into the summer months next time as we we flirting with disaster by scheduling in April and hoping the weather cooperated, but want to see if that is doable for most. I'm thinking the same place if that works for everyone, mainly because they have no problem with a large crowd like this, service was quick and excellent, and if we do it in summer, we can take over the outdoor tiki bar!  Maybe if we do this again, @Lug1 will actually show up...  I'll tag everyone who made it this year to gather your thoughts. I would also be willing to host another night before bbq if there is enough interest again. For those who missed it, here is a tray of the bbq that was served, as well as a special limited edition, 1 of 1, bottle of bourbon I was gifted. Scribin’. I’ll get in touch as the date gets closer. Depends on the daughter’s figure skating competition schedule.
Had a Lug1 sighting in Colorado at the Sand Dunes in 2016 would get to actually meet him at this one. |

Funny thing, I mapped it out on the iPad and it’s 7 hours and 28 minutes from our home in Missouri and 7 hours and 27 minutes from our home in Ohio. The route from Ohio unfortunately goes right through Chicago.
