I think the polymer reciever set and rail has too much flexibility to justify that kind of money attempting to make it more accurate.

Kinda defeats the purpose of a 15-22 I'd say.

Makes sense.  I was a little surprised they were offering it.

My factory 15-22 is reliable and accurate. What more do I need, other than more ammo?

The only thing that will make mine better is a can…..soon

That’s a lot of cheddar.  About $130 more than I paid for the gun.  No issues in a decade plus of ownership and real fun suppressed.

I brought a guy with a $1000+ package, my AR was less that it.  Was a nice package, but it was a .22

I think the market for upgrades to S&W 15-22 is definitely there, but $520 is a lot for that gun in one bite and it’s not the improvement owners want first.

An aluminum lower that lets you use a regular buffer tube or railed picatinny stock fitting would be cool. And match it with an aluminum upper that lets you use standard AR handguards with the M&P barrel and bolt.

After that, add the barrel and bolt from VQ.

Then you can put the original parts back together and have two rifles.

10/22 proves that buyers will turn a $300 rifle into a $1200 rifle one piece at a time.

It’s more likely to be shot than a 223 or 6.5 creedmore, or 6.8, or almost any other caliber. You might shit on it being a 22 but he probably puts more lead down range than 90% of collectors here.

I love mine, but the only things I'll spend money on are mags and ammo.

Mine malfunctions.all over the place after about 3000 rounds if I don't run a brush in the chamber and half ass scrub the bolt.

It shoots Federal value pack about an inch at 50 yards.

Unless I clean the barrel. Then it's about 4 inches until it get cruded up again. I thought I ruined it after cleaning it.

It's an 8 inch pistol. It weighs nothing now. I wouldn't mind it being a pound heavier.

I have a single shot Remington 580 that does that when you clean the barrel.

All my others may shoot a little bigger then settle down to usual in 5 to 10 rounds.

These two act like you clean out the barrel with a drill bit for 50 plus rounds

You should put that $520 into a better dedicated .22LR platform like a Tippman, or build out an RTB ceiner style BCG  AR .22 upper on a whatever lower receiver.

I don't want a new barrel for mine and I paid much less than that package for my entire gun

If they had an affordable kit with some less serious upgrades I'd def consider it but a new bolt and barrel is going to be a no for me dawg. . . . Especially considering mine runs absolutely flawlessly as/is. Why even chance fucking that up

IIRC these kits were closer to $350 about 4 years ago, it was worth it at that price,

My 15-22s are pretty damn accurate. My bolt rifles are for true precision rimfire duties. My 15-22s are for training purposes.

I'd go gucci and ball out on a vudoo precision bolt rifle.

But I wouldn't go $900-$1000 for an 15-22
