Years ago I made a comment on here about how I've hammered it in to my kids heads that while they are to be respectful to police they are in absolutely no way to speak to them with me present. I got bashed pretty good and told what an anti police pos I was by a ton of people on here. lol

I've heard some of my younger relatives say that their kid's teachers will ask invasive questions and that it's very difficult to teach them to respect the teachers while at the same time teaching them that they should not talk about certain things. I imagine trying to teach a kid that some lies are OK, i.e. "no, no guns in the house", while others aren't, i.e. "the dog ate my homework", is very difficult. The way they're trying to make it so that minors can talk to "authority" figures without their legal guardians being present is straight up commie- I understand it from a child abuse scenario, I've seen enough child abuse to know how horrible it is, but they've taken it way beyond that.
