Anyone with Wireshark or whatever else captures data ever try it?

I have typed many a reply and before hitting submit decided it just best not to say anything and closed the window... For a variety of reasons.

The question is, can anyone from ARFCOM or any MITM see what the reply may have been before the window was closed?

Extremely unlikely.
Unless you've got a keylogger or other nefarious shit on your machine.

Replies are all kept in the browser until submitted.
Some forums will "save drafts", but this isn't one of them.

They can see what it was before edits, but no data goes to the server unless you press submit or preview.  Not even sure if preview goes to the server or not.

To test it, type a response, turn off your router, then press preview... see what happens.

Most web browsers come with a dev toolbar. Enable it and you can see the network traffic from request/response for Internet protocols interacting with the current web page.
