McConnell 'Blew the Midterms,' Says Trump of GOP Election Losses  Former President Donald Trump on Nov. 13 blamed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) after Democrats secured control of the Senate after winning races in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. "It's Mitch McConnell's fault," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. "Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake. Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake." "He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow!" Trump added, referring to former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao. Trump hand picked "His" Trump Sucker Candidates based first & always if they would kiss his ass & repeat his lies rather than if they could actually WIN in a general election. Trump campaigns extensively for "his" candidates riding the same old tired reframe of "My 'Big Win' in 2020 was Stolen". When Trumps hand picked candidates subsequently lose their races General Elections, Trump then blames everyone else - except the ONE PERSON who hand picked & personally campaigned for said Terrible Candidates (Donald Trump). Trump Lies & Stupidity cost the Republicans the Senate in 2020 when Trumps own "crack" legal team told Republicans NOT to vote in the Georgia Senate Run Offs.  Trump did us all a solid favor in 2016 keeping Hilary Clinton from becoming Madame President, and in placing (THANKS TO MITCH MCCONNELL) - three Justices on the Supreme Court. We need new blood at the top. Both Mitch and Trump did a lot. Trump revitalized the party, and Mitch sent a lot of Democratic bills to the graveyard, as well as got us a couple of SC judges the would have gone to Democrats without his maneuvering. Both did a lot for us, but it's time to let new people have a shot, in both jobs. |
