Perhaps it will actually be released this year.
But I doubt it. Wonder who the bad guys are supposed to be? Think they will leave it vague like in the first one? |

I was really stoked about this movie. Now? Not so much. Why?
I was stoked about Duke Nuke Forever when it was announced back in 1997/1998. Look how that turned out. I feel this is going the same direction. |

I can tell already that it will not even come close to the original. I will still probably watch it but my expectations are low. you can see the wokeness even in the trailers

I wonder if it's "bowing to China" or just trying to be "marketable in China?" In other words, US movies are big business, so I take it as they are just trying to expand over-seas views.
It looks interesting enough that I'll probably rent it from Redbox in 2023. |
