I started reading Morgan’s books after watching Altered Carbon season 1. Altered Carbon season 1 was great, despite the mostly horrible departures from the book. Season 2 was just fucking awful, but that’s for another thread.

Anyway, I read and thoroughly enjoyed the Kovacs’ trilogy, then moved on to the rest of Morgan’s books. Thirteen, was decent, but not as good as the Kovacs’ books. Just finished Thin Air, and honestly I liked it better than the Kovacs’ books. I kind of wish someone would make this into a TV series, but they would inevitably screw it up.

Yeah, I get that Morgan’s protagonists are basically the same character. Kovacs = Veil = Marsalis = Augmented tough guy merc with a soft spot for the underdog.

I just started Market Forces but heard it is the worst of Morgan’s books.
