Karla express her thankfulness to the Arfcom family. She cannot believe all the things Arfcom has done for John in particular keeping his spirits up. Ok I just hung up with Karla. It was a lesson session to help her with how to post.
When we hung up she said she will be reading the last three pages to john. She will also reply and post as her time and emotions will allow. She seems to have that allergy/dust problem we have. I'm glad I could help to this point and will be in contact with Karla via phone as well. I'll still be able to help her with this. EBR Prayers to John and Karla |

I have been avoiding this thread because I am scared. Thank you both for spend your very precious time with us. In Jesus name. |

Hi Karla and John,
This is an amazing thread. I've been away from it for a while and I'm saddened to read the last few pages. John, you have touched more people than you can imagine. I'm sure that all who have been following the thread have been enriched in some manner. My wife and I are dealing with some medical issues (hers) and we have adopted your principle of looking for the good in every day. The good is there, and it sometimes surprises you. It's a good principle and helps get through a trying day. Like many others have said, I've been led by this thread to re-examine my priorities. Thank you. I will continue to keep both of you in prayer, and I'd like to close with one; Lord, I ask for the comfort and peace that only You can bestow. Please touch and bless our friends, Your servants, Karla and John. Please hold them in your arms Lord and comfort them. Surround them with Your Love and Grace and protection. Please remove fear and pain, replacing it with serenity. Lord, I believe this thread has your hand on it. I believe you meant for John to connect with people and give them pause. It was a very windy night here in northeast PA - didn't sleep well and just finally got out of bed at 3:45 to feed the dogs and have a cup of coffee.
Despite the lack of sleep, my first thought as I sat up in bed was how beautiful the wind sounds roaring through the trees. Already found the good, John. Thanks for that. Lifting you and Karla in my prayers. Rest well. |
