His brother just posted on W_W’s Facebook page. He died in January 29, 2021. Thought he had been silent recently; FB hadn’t been updated since Jan 26 and he hadn’t logged into Arf since Jan 27.
Hello all, this is Randy. Steve's younger brother. And it is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our oldest brother Steven. He passed on January 29th and he is now with our parents who preceded him on this journey. He will be incredibly missed, because he was loved by so many. We love you big Bro! God speed and we'll see you on the other side. A Celebration of life is being planned. Details will be shared upon request. Please send your request to (removed; please IM me with your email address and I’ll pass it along to Randy). Please write something about Steve in the comments below. We have our stories, we'd love to hear yours. Steve was a friend, someone I got to know when I lived in Arizona. He was a staple of the AZ HTF, a regular at shoots, and truly a happy all-around great man. He was among the first to welcome me into the group when I first moved west and knew nobody. Welcomed me into his home, introduced me to others, and just made me feel welcome. I’m going to miss him.
