Just watched The Odessa File.  Great movie and a reminder of what a great decade the 70's were  for movies.  No P.C. crap being thrown at us, gorgeous women, groovy soundtracks, etc..

What are some of your faves from that decade?

I get a laugh from some of the knock-off titles where a film that did well is re-shot, usually in 3 days, and given a similar title and at least an X rating:

Report Your Vocal Sharif

The Codfarther

A Cockswork Orange

Lust Banjo in Parish

Invasion of the Body's Snatches

Picnicing at Banging Rock

The Inlaws of Josey Wales

The Jerkoff

Greatest “paranoia” film ever.

“Executive Action” is one of my guilty pleasures.

I remember watching "Didn't Look Up Dates" at the Moonlight Drive-in, in Bristol VA back in the summer of 79.

Many years ago, I kind of had a thing going on for which I could not stand to see someone making a seemingly uncleanupable mess in the movies.

I've never seen Close Encounters past the point that Richard Dreyfuss is shoveling dirt through the window.

The Eagle Has Landed is one of my faves from the 70s...

Never saw March or Die...that looks pretty good.  Also begs the question...Do they even do previews for movies like that anymore?

The Man Who Would be King is another great 70s flick

I did watch this on Amazon prime recently.  It's like a spaghetti western set in late 60's Las Vegas.  I think the appeal for me is it reminded me of the late night movies I sneak out of bed and watch when I was a kid.

Straw Dogs is crazy. They had to edit it to get an "R" rating.
