Going to CenterMass762 14.5" BCM hammer forged factory upper with a Griffin brake/comp. This is UNPINNED and will need pinned or put on a pistol. No BCG/CH, sorry. I asked @ordersman about some uppers he had mentioned and he sent me this. This is a solid upper. I can send it to a shop to have it pinned if you want, you can arrange for shipping from there and the pinning service. (I'd suggest Retro Arms Works)

I just pulled the handguards off being curious and noticed it is a hammer forged barrel so it's a nice one for sure. Nicer than my AR.

I have a low round count 18" psa barrel I can send out. It grouped around 1.25-1.5 inch with good ammo, mid length gas a2 profile set up for a ss gas block but no dimples. I will send it out for a good cause, not just to expand someones collection. Edit I probably wont follow this thread, if some chimes up send me a message. sent to hagdaddy no longer available |

I have someone I'm trying to get set up. He's my best friend who I've known since we were toddlers. He works his dick in the dirt to help everyone else but himself. He has adopted kids who had shitty homes to give them a better life. He'll drop whatever he's doing to help anyone and give you the shirt off of his back. He's the best friend a guy could as for. He wants an AR something fierce but doesn't have much extra money and doesn't want to spend the money on himself. I want to build him a rifle as a gift and, if anyone wants to help out, it couldn't go to a better man. I just started gathering parts a few days ago and have already acquired a rail, stock, grip, sights, and possibly a buffer tube and spring. |

Update on my mom's carbine. I'm just needing an upper. Decided on going 16" I was able to get the lower and an alg act rounded up. I did say a pistol upper on it with a tube no stock in case I find a pistol upper first. Now it can go either way. She's an RN and lately some crazy druggie have been raising hell against medical workers. |

i was pretty involved in the first thread like this and could use some help for a friend. was thinking about gifting one of my ars but thought it might be fun to build one with the help of arf for a very deserving guy. back story-a really good friend of almost 20yrs has raised his two sons alone since his oldest was about 5yo (they are 20 and 18 now) because his old lady turned into a cheat/druggie. both his sons live at home until their house burnt down about two months ago taking with it his new pole barn full of equipment, dirt bikes, quads, all but one vehicle, his newly remolded rv etc. he, the boys and their dag all made it out safe with just the clothes on their backs. they lost everything including all his guns/bows/hunting gear. he always wanted an ar but never had one. i know i have a buffer tube kit, lpk and probably some other stuff. pretty sure all my lowers got built into guns but i can buy one or an anodized 80 and finish it (unless someone has a spare 80). ill buy whatever i need to get this done and ill hook him up with a few mags and a little ammo. just wondering if you guys have mostly upper parts taking up space. looking to build a 16" 5.56 possibly with a ff rail and middy barrel but we'll see how this goes. ill happily donate leftover parts once i get my buddy set up thanks in advance btw the day after his fire his aunt started a go fund me, i reached out to site staff but never heard back so i just figured it wasnt allowed to post the link |

I got my soon-to-be FIL a stripped lower and LPK. Spent an evening assembling it with him. He's one of the best men I've ever known. Does everything he can to support his daughters, including taking in the younger daughter+5 grandkids. His home defense weapon is a trashed out Mini-14 that he calls "his AR." I'm looking to finish his build off with an upper and a stock of whatever flavor. Anyone have some upper parts I can assemble for him? |
Good friend of mine finally got another job, then his truck breaks down. Money he saved for ar is now going into his way to work. I've got quite a bit to help him with, but need a 5.56 bbl/and or bolt. I can throw in some carbine buffer springs, carbine handguards and Magpul fixed carbine stock for anyone in need. I also have 2 pairs rifle length triangle hand guards. I love it when an ARCOM plan comes together!

Like I said in my earlier post, trying to build an ar for my girlfriend, we are both relocating to the Vegas area for work, after being laid off for a year here in SC. I’ve got a barrel, but that’s about it. And the giant bag of a2 grips from old lpk that I didn’t use if anyone needs one. |

In general, to my way of thinking, your rifle needs magazines, ammo, light, sling and optic. In that order. They are some ways to save a little money and still come out with a reasonably good setup. I will start another thread tonight to keep for cluttering this one. |
