The old thread slipped away last year, with all the craziness going on I'm not surprised. I asked Striker about it and he had no objections about a 2.0. We built quite a few carbines for people that needed them last go round and I'd like to know if anyone could/would support another go. With all the disastrous economic policies of our benevolent overlords I'd think there's a need for another thread. Post up if you can help or need help. I have a few things I'll plop down if this gains some traction. As stated in the other thread and goes without saying, this is not a place to score free parts for your 12th truck gun. If you don't have an AR we're here to help. Proactive @Striker verification in case this takes off. ETA: looks like it is on. Quick rehash of rules: Post what you have to give away. When it is given away please edit to note that. If you want something quote the poster and explain your need. It doesn't have to be your life story but "I want this" ain't going to cut it. IM the poster as well. Remember, this is people donating parts to what they deem a worthy cause. Want does not equal get. Followup when you get it all put together. Keep in mind people are donating these parts so offering to cover shipping would be appreciated even though it'll likely get turned down. |

| The other thread helped me build several rifles for a few disabled vet buddies. They greatly appreciate the rifles you guys donated to. Let's keep it going. It's a great help for anyone that needs help building that is in a financial tough situation. |

| I am wanting to build a rifle for a Marine friend. He has a Down Syndrome child and can’t afford a rifle. If I could swing a build myself I would. I have told him to buy a lower and we could piece together a rifle. So what budget upper would be good. I know no deals like before Covid, but if I can get him fixed up before bans happen I would be happy. |

I would definitely be down for this. Finally got my girlfriend a handgun and some range time after all the crazy BLM stuff that has happened here. She still needs a bedside ar15, since her Kahr pm9 rides in her car 24/7 (till she completes her ccw class). I have a barrel right now, but that’s it. Receivers have been scarce obviously, so I haven’t had the chance to build one for her. Edit to add that she was laid off for all of 2020, and I got laid off in October and still looking for a job. No pity party, just stating that income is scarce and we are looking to move to find work next month actually. |

How's that?  ETA: claimed by zoe17 and going out today I assembled it myself but it's all torqued to spec and assembled properly. Yours if you want it. @ordersman has an upper headed my way but this one is ready to roll. As far as other parts I think a couple buffer springs is about it, I gave away pretty much everything last time. I'll double check though. |

Here is what I found laying around in the garage. 1 waffle stocks 3 A2 grips 1 set of Colt carbine length hand guards 1 mil spec fgc 2 mil spec trigger guards If anyone needs these, they are available Also a magpul rear buis. Updated to reflect parts that have been claimed/shipped |

Building my mom something for bseide her bed. My dad goes our of town a lot for work and the area that was once suburbia is being taken over. Looking at a 300BO pistol but will build anything. I have a spare lower I just need an upper and at the moment don't have the funds to buy one. If you have one that would be amazing and I'd give you what I can for it! ETA it will also be used for hunting a little bit because her hunting rifle was stolen. |

| For those who haven’t been made aware PSA has 16” MOE carbine kits on sale for $420. I ordered one and it will be my first AR15 platform rifle. Now to find a stripped lower. I don’t need any donations, per se, just some recommendations on finishing this kit out. |
