Not sure I can answer the question without more thought, but I can definitively say that both characters gave off the exact same vibe to me: relentless and ruthless.

The fact that Cameron was able to pull that off twice is remarkable.

T800 as he was the invulnerable machine that Sarah and Kyle seemed unable to defeat and would be on the run from forever. In T2, it wasn't a question of 'if' but 'how' they would defeat the T1000.

T800.

They spent more time filming the T800 trying to be stealthy and he knew he wasn't invincible.

T1000 acted like god mode all the time.

Both were great but T1 had more of a horror movie vibe where T2 was more action packed.

Really good movies but I'd say that the T-800 was more menacing, even when it was damaged and moving slow it was relentless

T800 was straight up horror movie shit.

T1000 was just a cool bad guy in an awesome action movie.

Eta, beat like a rented mule.

Loved the finger wag and head gesture after the cop one was blasted with the shotgun.

Both were awesome but I dont think they would've survived T1 if the T1000 had been after them.  Having Arnold on their side in T2 was a big help for them.
