Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines is awesome mostly because of the car chase scene. Good stunts with heavy equipment.
Unique and awesome car chase. |
|
It was a decent Action film, but not that great of a Terminator film.
|
|
SPNI. Rise of the machines was shit. The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day are all that should be included in the franchise.

Most of it was bad but IMO, they really stuck the ending as I still remember it years later.

End of Terminator 3 was best ending.
Montana Civil Defense - Hello, hello can someone hear me? This is Montana Civil Defense. Somebody please come in. CQ, CQ, is anybody there? Conner- This is John Conner at Crystal Peak Montana Civil Defense - Conner, what the hell is happening? Montana Civil Defense - Who’s in charge there? Conner - (long pause) I am........ Montana Civil Defense - Conner can you help us?” |

One and Two are the best.
Three is good, I don't care what you say. The chase scene is Awesome, and I enjoyed the ending. Salvation was ridiculous. I liked the first half of the one where they reimagined the beginning of the original, but then it goes off the rails. Did not see the newest girl power one. I have never seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles either, I think that series is supposed to be good... |
|
First 3 terminators were like thge first 3 Star Wars. They should have just ended them there.
T3:ROTM was the perfect ending. "Our mission wasn't to prevent Judgement Day, but to survive it." |

I present proof that Terminator 3 was terrible... I’m sorry to do this but it must be done.. Keep in mind that the first film in the franchise is essentially a sci fi slasher film...

1. T2
2. T1 3. Salvation 4. Genisys 5. T3 6. Dark Fate And the franchise should have stopped at T2. If anything, Salvation should have been dark enough most people would hate it. |

They never made any sequels past 2. They don't exist. Same goes for Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, and Beverly Hills Cop.

Just recently saw Dark Fate and literally every other Terminator movie is a masterpiece compared to that pile of trash.

The ending of Terminator 3 is brilliant and elevates the rest of the movie.

I actually liked Terminator: Genisys. Time travel aspects were a lot of fun.

Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, and Terminator Salvation are the only films that exist. And Salvation is allowed to exist because at least it took a different approach with the material instead of just rehashing T2 over and over again like T3, T:Genisys, and T:Darkfate did.

All Terminator films after the first and maybe the second are regurgitated garbage.
T2 was a cool film, and is liked because it has a larger audience appeal (no sex scene, no murder-20-plus-cops scene), and bigger budget. From a storyline perspective it's stupid, that movie shouldn't have even been allowed to exist since Reese even said in the first that they'd smashed the defense grid and won, and the Terminator was a last ditch hail mary effort by Skynet to stop what had just happened. But, everyone loves Arnold as a bad-guy-turned-good, big cool whiz special effects, they got Guns N Roses to do the soundtrack, and young people related with John Connor so a lot of people completely look over that it's an absurdity but gets a pass because we see Sarah Connor kick ass and on its own merits is a good film. So at least it brings something to the table though it fails a lot of ways in the spirit of the first movie. Unlike the hot mess that came after where each film just felt like a 52 year old bar whore still trying to act pretty and seductive and kinda does in the dim dingy bar light but the second you get close and really look at her you can see just how bad the trainwreck is. They ruined the franchise, then continued to ruin it again and again each movie proclaiming to get back to the roots. |

I agree with macman, who agreed with FALFOX, that Genisys was actually a fun movie to watch. Except for the cool CG mushroom cloud, I like it a lot more than Salvation. Jay |

T2 best action movie all time. T1 is awesome. The rest, Meh. Genisys was ok. The most recent one was an absolute train wreck. Unwatchable garbage.

Genysis was a cool concept, but the execution was just off to me, I think a lot of it was that most of the cast just didn’t work for me.
And what they did with John Connor, wtf? |

You can't judge a film based on what they DIDN'T include, or everything would be a piece of crap. I liked T3. Heck, I even liked Salvation, even if T2 is the best of the series, but I hated Genisys and can't be bothered to watch Dark Fate. |

T3 was absolute trash. The terminator cracking jokes and making fun of himself?!? Come on.
And young Claire Danes is smoking hot |

I still think T1 is the best one but enjoyed T2. Hate the rest.

I liked Salvation....
Anyway, T3 is very forgettable. T2 is the best in the series. In fact, T2 is one of the best action films ever made. |
|
T1 was a solid movie. T2 set the standard for action sci-fi movies. T3 was solid.
I could sit down and watch any or all of them right now if I didn't have to work today. Also - Young Guns II is another movie that was better than the original, like T2. In both cases I think the makers of the original saw the chance to go all-out and make a blockbuster and it's very rare for a film to pull that off as a sequel. |
