[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tear gas cartridge gun

Came across these online. Made by Colt's Firearms and used a zipgun-looking flare launcher to fire. Sold for nonlethal self defense in 60s & 70s.

Are the cartridges legal for non-leo?

They contain cs tear gas set off by a firearm primer.
