Target is the latest company to drop Chaokoh coconut milk over allegations of forced monkey labor. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, said the retailer will no longer sell the product because of its alleged ties to monkey labor. Chaokoh's Thai supplier is accused of forcing monkeys to pick coconuts from the trees, CNN reported. I've got to admit monkey labor makes it a must buy for me! I wonder if they'll unionize or if they're too advanced for that?

Get em addicted to meth, reward them with a small bump for every 20 coconuts. I could raze fern gully to dust with a couple monkeys and a few ounces of ice. |

That’s my go-to brand after trying many. As long as the monkeys aren’t abused, that kinda makes it more awesome.

Should any company that uses animals be similarly shunned?
Using dogs for herding or security? Using pigs to hunt truffles? Using horses for transportation? |

View Quote Nah, they'll just be out of work, here's their backup plan https://www.zmescience.com/research/how-scientists-tught-monkeys-the-concept-of-money-not-long-after-the-first-prostitute-monkey-appeared/ "It took several months of training for the capuchins to learn that they could exchange such a token for fruit. After they understood this, each monkey was given 12 tokens to decide on how to spend it on food valued at different prices. Researchers observed that the monkeys could even budget. Researchers then changed the market and put Jell-O at a lower price, to see if monkeys would buy fewer grapes and more Jell-O. They acted exactly like the current laws of economics dictate for humans as well." "Something else happened then too. Grasping the notion of currency simply means you understand that you can exchange money for goods and services. Well, one of the researchers, during the chaotic episode mentioned earlier, observed how one of the monkeys exchanged money with another for sex. After the act was over, the monkey which was paid immediately used it to buy a grape…" |

Cleqely, you entice them with bananas and give them a great place to throw their feces! Was watching a Jack Hanna, Into The Wild...he’s getting a little old, so his daughter is his handler. They’re with a native guide trying to see the habitat of some species of monkey being driven to extinction. Along the way, they find a baby monkey, with the guide speculating poachers killed the mother. The guide said, yeah, I’ll bring this home and feed it some bananas. Hanna and his daughter are saying what a great thing to do, then Jack asked does the baby monkey like bananas. The native has that WTF look, and said, I don’t know, but it makes the meat taste better |

Whoever trained a monkey to do what had previously been human labor ought to get a Nobel Prize.

What’s next? Police demonized even more since the force dogs to work and apprehend criminals?

Funny how the western colonizer bullshit mentality becomes perfectly fine and justifiable whenever the "people of color" start doing anything the left disapproves of. I have no authority, nor any right, to tell people in another country how to run their shit. If Thailand wants to introduce monkies into the labor pool? Good for them. In some cases I vehemently disagree with other cultures, like stoning a woman for getting raped or eating dogs, but in their own sovereign land, it's their own sovereign choice.

I wonder if these people know what Civet Cats have to do to make Kopi Luwak?

Meanwhile how many products that the left loves are made in China with near slave or actual slave and child labor?
