That was an incredibly confusing day. I still remember local radio in Jacksonville talking about some panel van the Navy was putting out a BOLO on.

Every plane that landed, or that was taxiing out should have been isolated, and cleared one by one by law enforcement....
But, that didn't happen, and I feel some bad actors (Some People Did Some Thing) got away..... And left a day or two later when Bush authorized selected Saudi's to fly out of the USA...... |

My wife was on the runway about to take off from Boston to NY on that day at 08:45
They were about to take off and swat or whoever ran onto the plane and it was stopped, they never took off and she had no idea what was happening but they were all told to get off and everyone was searched and screened. The airline put everyone up in the same hotel and she had a massive allergic reaction and ended up in a boston hospital for 7 days. I thought she was dead for the whole week until her sister finally got a call from the Japanese embassy. Fuck that's a long time ago... |
